First Time

For the first time in the 12 years I have been homeschooling, the girls and I walked down to the bus stop.

We waited for the big orange bus, that my kids have never been on.  I take that back.  We rode a bus for 10 minutes to get from a parking lot to a church event.  Glad to know my kids are not so sheltered now. 🙂

Only two little girls came off the bus, so we decided to take them both.

We helped them back down the street.  Pea #2 even helped with the backpack.

Once we got home, we were entertained with a reading of a written report and a music.  It was a great afternoon.  The girls had lots of fun.

Then the girls’ mother came home and we had to give them back.

These pictures are now proof that my homeschooled kids have socialized.  If we have any further issues with the “S” word, we’ll just go down to the bus stop and grab two more friends to play with.
