2009/2010 Parts of a flower This one was very interesting, because the students have never taking apart a flower to look inside. I love the excitement in their voices and on their faces when they discover something new.
2010/2011 We did the same at last year (above). Students are always goofy.
I do require all of them to sketch the flowers and label. Below is one of my favorite sketches. It is easy to see what it is and everything is labeled.
