    Hi Shelly-I love your site and your writings. I live in Vero Beach and love your leaf project. I was considering a field trip to St Augustine with my daughter who is 7. Do you think she is too young-we have been studying Florida History and wildlife since the summer-I thought a trip would tie it in nicely. Thanks for the inspiration. -Dolores

      LOL I haven’t been called Shelly in many, many years. :

      My girls did not like St. Augustine at that age. They did like the fort, but not walking with a tour guide in the fort. The beach and the Lighthouse was their favorite places to visit. Oh, and the ice cream shop. 😀

        OOOPS sorry-I thought I read a post that stated your name was Shelly-now that I remember it, it was the story of when you were 3!!!!! LOL sorry ’bout that. Thanks for letting me know about ST AUgustine- I think I will post pone that adventure for a later date but if we are ever up that way we will check out the Ice Cream Shop! Have a great day!!
